Training Agility on an Ironman account is similar to training on a regular account since it does not require resources that would take time to obtain. It is an important skill and should be trained early on an Ironman as it offers significant benefits like passive energy restoration and access to quests and shortcuts across various areas in the game. This is especially useful on Ironman, who need to conserve stamina or energy potions since they are relatively harder to obtain.
The Graceful clothing can be bought from Grace in the Rogues’ Den for 260 marks of grace. When worn, it improves the players' run energy restoration rate by 30%. It should be obtained as soon as possible on an Ironman, as it would be difficult to use stamina potions consistently. The outfit also reduces the player’s weight, increasing their chances of success of most obstacles.
Summer pie has two slices. Each bite restores 11 hitpoints, 10% run energy, and grants a +5 temporary boost to agility. Consistently using it will improve the chances of success against most agility obstacles and allow you to boost your agility level to the requirement for better agility courses. It can be bought from the Pie shop in the Cooks’ Guild or baked at 95 cooking.
Completing the quests below can help players skip early training levels.
This gives a total of 21,050 agility XP, taking the player from level 1 to 34 agility.
Training at the Brimhaven agility course is the fastest training method from levels 32 to 47 agility. It is different from other agility courses as players must tag ticket dispensers to get agility XP instead of maneuvering agility obstacles. For training agility in this course, players will be awarded the Brimhaven voucher, which can be used to purchase several useful items that can be used to train other skills. Check our Brimhaven agility course to learn how to efficiently train in this course and the rewards to expect.
The Wilderness Agility Course is an agility training area found in the wilderness. This course is dangerous as it is in a singles-plus combat area, which means PKers can attack you at any time, so you should only bring items you can risk losing. It requires 52 agility, but summer pie should be used to boost agility to 52 from level 47.
Players should expect 50,000-60,000 agility XP per hour.
Requirements: Completion of Sins of the Father quest and 52 agility. It is also recommended to have 66 thieving, 56 construction, 54 prayer, 7 magic, and 62 ranged.
Although the Hallowed Sepulchre is unlocked at 52 agility, the Wilderness Agility course still offers better XP per hour until 72 agility when floor three is unlocked. The requirements for this course are tough, especially on an ironman. However, it is worth it to complete it due to the rewards and XP rates, especially if you plan to do requirements anyway.
The Hallowed Sepulchre comprises a series of obstacles that require relatively more attention to evade, making it more difficult compared to other training methods. There is also a possibility of dying from the damage from the traps, so be cautious, especially on a hardcore ironman.

This course is located in the Gnome Stronghold and has no requirement to use. It is the lowest-level agility course that can be accessed, and is impossible to fail any of its obstacles, so food is not necessary. Players can get here with the spirit tree, grand seed pod, necklace of passage, or a games necklace. If you can’t use these options, take the boat to Ardougne from Rimmington and walk there.
Players can get 10,000 XP per hour while paying full attention.
The agility pyramid is an agility training course in the Kharidian Desert between Sophanem and Nardah. It is a great alternative for players looking to make money from training agility, especially at low levels. Players can get between 30K to 260K GP from levels 30 to 99 agility. Check our agility pyramid guide to find the best strategy for training with this method.
Agility rooftops are straightforward and only have an agility requirement to use. They require relatively less attention but still yield decent XP rates. Players might need to bring food since they will often fail and take damage, especially at lower levels. Below shows how to train from 1 to 99 agility using agility rooftops and the XP per hour to expect.
The Prifddinas agility course is the best alternative for players seeking a more relaxing training method since there are long pauses between actions. Players can also find crystal shards when they use portals that appear randomly around the course, acting as shortcuts. These shards can be used to create valuable items like the Blade of Saeldor, the Bow of Faerdhinen, and several potions that are quite useful on an ironman.
Players can get between 59,000 - 66,000 XP per hour while training at this course.
