OSRS Spiritual Creatures Guide

Spiritual Creatures is a Slayer task that includes four god-aligned factions of warriors found exclusively in the God Wars Dungeon. These creatures come in melee, ranged, and magic varieties—some of which are among the best sources of rune items, prayer XP, and even God Wars Door dungeon keys. This guide covers where to find them, how to kill them efficiently, and which ones are worth prioritizing.

What Are Spiritual Creatures?

Spiritual Creatures are divided into 3 of their type:

Spiritual Rangers

  Spiritual Mages (Drops dragon boots!) Requires 83 Slayer

  Spiritual Warriors (Safe-Spotable)

Bring one of each god gear (each God type: Zamorak, Saradomin, Guthix, Bandos) to avoid being attacked form other monsters while killing Spiritual Creatures.

Requirements to kill Spiritual Creatures

•   80+ Melee combat stats (Recommended)
•   63 Slayer to be assigned the task
•   Assigned by: Duradel, Nieve, Konar, and others
•   Spiritual mages require level 83 Slayer, but others don’t
•   Big rocks in the dungeon require 60+ Agility to bypass without a rope

Where to Find Spiritual Creatures

The creatures are scattered across the God Wars Dungeon, accessible by the Trollheim teleport or by running from the Burthorpe area.

Fast Travel Options:

•   Trollheim Teleport (after Eadgar's Ruse) → Run north

•   Games Necklace → Burthorpe → Run northeast

•   Ghommal’s hilt — Three daily teleports to the God Wars Dungeon entrance (by the large boulder) via the hilt

• Helmet: Helm of Neitiznot / Slayer Helm (i)
• Body/Legs: any combination of Bandos and Zamorak, regardless of whether it is the body or legs.
• Weapon: Ghrazi Rapier / Abyssal Whip
• Cape: Saradomin Cape / Saradomin Cloak
• Shield: Dragon Defender / Avernic
• Boots: Climbing Boots / Holy Sandals
• Ring: Berserker Ring (i) / Ring of Dueling

Task Tips & Strategy

•   Bring god gear (one item matching each faction) to avoid being attacked form other monsters!
•   Use prayer protection based on enemy type (eg. Mages → Protect from Magic)
•   Focus on Spiritual Mages for profitable drops like dragon boots
•   Always bring a teleport and food—you can get pked by other players if in the wilderness!
