Players can receive Slayer reward points for completing Slayer tasks--this is based on how many tasks players have accomplished in a row. Completion of a task assigned by Chaeldar will grant you:

Best Tasks to Do

Nechryael - top XP task, drops alchables and seeds
Bloodveld - high XP/hr, cannon in Slayer Tower
Fire giants - easy, fast XP with range or melee
Aberrant spectres - good XP + herb drops

Tasks to Block or Skip

Turoths - requires specific gear, slow XP
Basilisks - slow kills, weak drops
Jellies - poor XP compared to Nechryael or Bloodveld
  Cave crawlers - poor XP/hr
Kalphite - cannon task but inefficient if you lack a cannon

Why Use Chaeldar?

  • Good balance of XP per task
  • Faster tasks compared to Konar for quick Slayer points
  • Accessible location if you use Fairy Ring teleports
  • Useful for mid-level Slayer unlocks before 85+ Slayer grind

Final Tips

Always bring your Slayer helm or assigned protection gear for tasks like spectres or basilisks.

Unlock superior creatures early to maximize XP gains on Bloodveld, Nechryael, and Aberrant spectres.

Use a cannon where possible to greatly speed up tasks like Suqah and Bloodveld.

Transition to Konar, Nieve/Steve, or Duradel once your combat stats and Slayer level increase for even greater XP rates and profitable tasks.

Conclusion

Chaeldar remains the go-to Slayer master for mid-level players in OSRS seeking consistent Slayer points and fast XP to unlock higher-level Slayer content. Use this guide to block her worst tasks and focus only on those that propel your Slayer training efficiently towards your PvM and max goals.
