OSRS Recipe for Disaster/Another Cook's Quest Guide

This is the shortest and easiest in the Recipe for Disaster series, and it marks the genesis of the quest series.

Length: Very Short

 

General Questing recommendations

  • Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
  • Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog.

 

Item requirements for Another Cook Quest

  • Eye of newt: 
  • Greenman’s ale
  • Rotten tomato
  • Ashes
  • Fruit blast

 

Obtaining required items on Ironman

  • Eye of newt: Can be bought from Betty’s Magic Emporium in Port Sarim.

  • Greenman’s ale: This is sold in Yanille at the Dragon Inn bar for 10 coins.

  • Rotten tomato: can be bought from a Pelters’ Veg Stall near the pillory cage in Varrock.

  • Ashes: Burn a fire to get ashes.
  • Fruit blast: Can be mixed by adding 1 pineapple, 1 orange, and 1 lemon. To create the cocktail, click “Mix-cocktail” in a cocktail shaker. All ingredients and tools can be bought from Funch’s Fine Groceries on the first floor of Gnome tree.

Walkthrough of Another Cook Quest

  • Talk to the Lumbridge Cook. Reply 1, 1, 1, 1 to start the quest. 

Chef in Lumbridge

  • Use ashes on the fruit blast to get Dirty Blast.
  • Talk to the Lumbridge cook with the required items to complete the quest.
  • Enter the Lumbridge Castle dining room, and a cutscene will start to start the Recipe for Disaster series.
