The Wilderness Agility course is an agility training course located in a singles-plus combat area in the Wilderness, making it quite dangerous since it allows PKers to attack at any time, even if you are in combat with a monster. Optionally, players can pay 150,000 to the agility dispenser to get rewarded with valuable loot after every lap. However, this comes with a risk, as the fee would be lost if the player dies or leaves the course. However, the fee is not removed if they log out and remain within the course, but 10 laps will be removed from their lap streak.
Note that the fee must be deposited from the player’s inventory, as it cannot be directly removed from their bank, unlike other Wilderness fees. Players who don’t pay the fee will still receive the same agility XP, but no valuable loot will be rewarded after each lap. The Agility dispenser restores run energy when it is tagged, regardless of whether the player paid the fee.
52 agility can be boosted from 49 agility. 52 agility is only required to enter the gate. The level requirement of the obstacles is level 49.
Here are the fastest methods to get to the Wilderness Agility course:
The Wilderness agility Course has a total of 5 obstacles. If all obstacles are passed in the correct order, bonus XP is rewarded at the end of the lap, for a total of 571.4 agility XP. There is a chance that a player fails an obstacle, which would result in damage. The chance of failure reduces with higher agility levels. There are also multiple level 18 and 25 skeletons moving around the course that will attack any player near them. For these reasons, you should bring good food along.
After entering the gates, cross the ledge to get to the course. Note that the ledge is not a part of the course but can be failed.
The obstacles are listed below in the same order as they appear in the Wilderness Agility Course.
Requires 49 agility and cannot be failed.
Failure results in falling into the dungeon below, causing [Current hitpoints × 0.15] + 1 damage.
Failure is possible, but it won’t send players to the dungeon. Only the third stone can be failed, dealing [Current hitpoints × 0.2] + 1 damage.
Falling sends players to the dungeon below, dealing [Current hitpoints × 0.15] + 1 damage.
Marks the end of the course and grants a completion bonus and cannot be failed.
Anytime you fail this course, you will fall into an underground area and have to climb up the ladder to continue the course.
Be sure to tag the dispenser after each lap to get the wilderness agility ticket and loot if you have paid the fee.
The location of the agility dispenser is shown below.
With moderate attention, players can complete a lap in an average of 45 seconds. You can expect base XP per hour of 40,000 and a maximum of 47,500 at 99 agility.
The agility dispenser rewards players with several items that can be sold for GP. The amount of loot offered per lap increases with the player’s lap streak, as shown below.
Players can only get this loot after paying the 150K fee. However, if your character dies or leaves the course, you have to pay the fee again, and your lap streak will reset, decreasing your profits.
