Final fight

The final battle takes place in a special instance of the Varrock stone circle, where you’ll face Delrith along with several dark wizards—two level 7s and one level 20. The level 7 wizards are aggressive to players below combat level 15, while the level 20 wizard will attack anyone under level 41. Additionally, one of the level 7 wizards will always attack after the first cutscene, regardless of your level. The level 20 wizard can hit up to 6, which is dangerous for players with low Hitpoints or negative Magic Defence.

Stone circle

Since this is a single-way combat zone, you must deal with any wizard attacking you before you can fight Delrith. For low-level players, it's best to enter from the south and use the southern stone wall to hide from the wizards until Delrith gets close. The wizards don’t respawn in the instance, so you can kill them, leave to restock, and return to fight Delrith safely.

To defeat Delrith, equip Silverlight. Despite his combat level of 27, Silverlight drastically lowers his Hitpoints—he’ll go down faster than a cow. Once his health hits zero, recite your unique magical incantation to banish him. If you get the incantation wrong, Delrith will fully heal, and you’ll have to try again. You can ask Aris in Varrock to remind you of the correct incantation if needed.

Tips for Pures and low-level players:

  • You can still use magic while wielding Silverlight by manually casting spells.
  • Flinching, or using Confuse, Curse, or Weaken, can make the fight easier.
  • A Ring of Recoil also helps deal passive damage.

If you take too long, Delrith will vanish, and you'll need to leave and re-enter to reset the fight. However, if he disappears during the final dialogue, you can still complete the quest by continuing through the dialogue options.
