Mining is generally a slow skill to train, and the fastest training methods are usually more click-intensive due to tick manipulation. The main difference between training Mining in F2P versus P2P is the lack of granite rocks and fewer quests that reward Mining XP in F2P.
It’s important to use the best pickaxe for your mining level to get the best XP rates. Different attack levels are required to wield pickaxes, but with the required mining level, you can mine with a pickaxe in your inventory. In F2P, the Dragon and Crystal pickaxes are not available.

Doric’s quest has no requirements and is very easy and short to complete. The quest rewards players with 1,300 mining XP when completed, taking them to 10 mining. Completing this quest will take players to level 10 mining faster than mining copper ore.
Copper and tin rocks reward players with 17.5 XP mining XP, the highest any ore can give at this level. The fastest location to mine copper ore is at East Lumbridge swamp, but if you plan to bank the ores, you should mine at the Southeast Varrock mine and bank at the eastern Varrock bank.

Superheat allows players to turn iron ore into iron bars with a 100% success rate without a furnace and from any location. To do this method efficiently, equip a staff of fire and have many nature runes in inventory. It’s best to mine southwest of Varrock as it allows the player to mine two separate rocks without moving. At this location, With a rune pickaxe and first-attempt mining success, the 9-tick (5.4 seconds) rock respawn timer lines up perfectly: the player has just enough time to smelt one bar (3 ticks), mine the second rock (3 ticks), and smelt the second bar (3 ticks), efficiently using every tick without downtime.
With 41+ mining, players can get 27,300 mining XP, 9,750 smithing XP, and 41,340 XP per hour from this method.
After the cost of nature runes is deducted, players can make 117,000 GP per hour from this method.
Requirements: 70 mining
Mining Adamantite ore is a good way to make money while mining in F2P, but it gives very low mining XP rates. The best place to mine Adamantite ore is within the Mining Guild since there are two ore spawns in the F2P area of the guild. You should hop worlds after depleting the rocks on the world you are on.
At 70+ mining, players will get 11,400 mining XP per hour.
Players can mine 120 Adamantite ore per hour, resulting in 101,160 GP per hour.

Runite ores are high-level ores that are highly sought after. Hence, they sell for a decent price on the GE (10K GP), and players frequently compete for them. Players would have to switch worlds a few times to find undepleted Runite ores. The only location to find Runite rocks in F2P is the Lava Maze runite mine, which contains two rocks.
With 40 attack, you can wield the rune pickaxe for extra inventory space. With 40 defence, you can wear rune armour to provide defence against PKers. Use the Anchovy pizza or Swordfish as food incase you encounter Pkers.
Players can get 5,000 mining XP per hour from mining runite ores.
Players can mine 40 runite ores per hour, resulting in 411,000 GP per hour.
