OSRS Imp Catcher Quest Guide

Imp Catcher is one of the shortest and easiest quests in the game. It involves retrieving the stolen magic beads belonging to the Wizard Mizgog and has no skill requirements.

General Questing recommendations

• Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog.

Item Requirements for Imp Catcher

These items can be bought from the Grand Exchange on normal accounts. However, ironman accounts have to obtain them themselves.

• Black bead
• White bead
• Red bead
• Yellow bead

Obtaining the Required Items on Ironman

Killing imps (level 2) is the fastest way to obtain the different beads. Imps have a chance to drop each bead at a rate of 1/25.6. A good place to kill them is at Karamja volcano, since there are eight spawns. 

Recommended Items for Imp Catcher

Necklace of passage to teleport to the Wizard’s tower: It can be bought from the Grand Exchange. Ironman players have to run to the Wizard’s tower from Lumbridge.

Walkthrough for Imp Catcher

• Get the beads required and teleport to the Wizard’s tower using the Necklace of Passage.

• Climb up the staircase twice with the required beads to get to the top floor.

• Talk to Wizard Mizgog with the required beads. Reply 1.1 to finish the quest.
