The Mastering Mixology minigame involves assisting the Alchemical Society in making potions that grant herblore XP and resins, which can be used to purchase valuable rewards. This minigame serves as an effective Herblore training method, particularly beneficial for Ironmen since it does not need any secondary ingredient and gives more herblore XP per herb.
60 herblore (not boostable) : higher levels are better since they allow players to use more potion recipes, with all potion recipes available at level 81.

The Mastering Mixology minigame occurs in Aldarin. Here are the fastest methods to get there:
Make your way to location above and speak to Clanila about accessing the cellar, then enter it. While inside, talk to the supervisor and tell him you will figure it out then follow the steps below.

First, refine your herbs into Mox, Lye, and Aga paste. To do this, put the clean herbs or the corresponding unfinished potions into the refiner by clicking the refiner when the herbs or unfinished potions are in your inventory. Players can manually do this or wait for it refine automatically once every 2 ticks. After refining, add the paste into the hopper, which can hold up to 3,000 of each paste at a time. Click on the hopper with the paste in your inventory to do this. The location of the hopper is shown in the image below.
Here is a list of different herbs and the paste they turn into:

Mix the 3 different potions based on the order in the HUD in the top-left corner of your screen. To do this, pull the levers in the right order based on the kind of paste needed for the potion. You should use the mastering mixology plugin on RuneLite as it will highlight the levers that you should pull. After pulling the levers, click the mixing vessel to get the resulting potion.

For instance, if the potion you should make is Alco-AugmentAtor(AAA), pull the Aga lever 3 times then collect the resulting potion from the mixing vessel. For the Marly's MoonLight (MML), pull the Mox lever twice, and then the Lye lever once. Always make the potion in the IUD to, or you get 1/3rd the XP with reduced resins.
Next, process the potions at the correct workstation. There are three processing stations, and the symbol behind the potion in HUD indicates which one to use. You can speed up the process by adjusting your clicking pace on the workstation, as shown below.
Agitator (homogenising): Click once after the fireworks and click again within a couple game ticks to get double the speed and finish the process

The RuneLite plugin can be set to change colour when it is time to click the workstation, so you should use it.
Note that: anytime you use any of the workstations, the process will automatically use the first potion in your inventory so always ensure you use the workstations according to how the potions are placed in your inventory. Using the wrong workstation will result in the potion getting lost. With the RuneLite plugin, you don't have to worry about this, as it will always highlight the right workstation based on the first potion in your inventory.
Finally, deposit the potions into the Conveyor belt. Click the conveyor belt to do this and up to 3 potions will be deposited. Mox resin, Aga resin. Lyre resin and Herblore XP will be awarded based on the potion made. Fulfilling two orders at once rewards 20% more resin, while fulfilling 3 will reward 40% more resin.
Occasionally, young Digweed plants will mature and bloom into a flower in one of the room's corners. Clicking on matured Digweed will allow the player to collect it, even if it dies before the player reaches it. Adding the Digweed to any potion before or after processing will double the amount of XP and rein gained from the potion. Don't hold on to the Digweed for too long as another will not spawn until you use the one you are with.
The best strategy really depends on your goal -- whether you're aiming for resins, points, or faster experience.
With proper setup, you can achieve around 105k experience per hour, but unlike other methods, you won't have much control over the points gained.
To prepare:
Pre-make every non-triple mix in your inventory using each type of processing so that there are 3 potions for each mix and 4 for MAL.
Repeat the process.
The most effective strategy for maximizing points per paste is:
Make every potion in the order, except for single-paste potions (MMM, AAA, or LLL).
If the order includes an MAL potion, then make every potion, including single-paste ones.
If the order contains only single-paste potions, brew just the one that matches your preferred point type.
Using this method, and prioritizing points in the order of L > M > A, you can expect around:
1.39 Mox points per paste
1.40 Aga points per paste
1.37 Lye points per paste
Finally, reserve Digweed exclusively for MAL potions to maximize point efficiency.
Currently, the most profitable use of reward points from the minigame is the Chugging barrel (disassembled), worth about 13M GP. Players can get 17,250 Mox resin, 14,000 Aga resin, and 18,600 Lye resin required to purchase it approximately every 4 hours. This results in a profit of 2.6M per hour.
