The fastest methods to get to the Jalsavrah Pyramind are shown below:
Players can enter the Jalsavrah Pyramid through one of its four doors, they are supposed to try out all four of the doors to find the one that leads to the Guardian mummy, three of those four doors will lead to an empty room—the correct door changes randomly every 25 minutes. After finding the right door, the player's odds of successfully entering depends on their thieving level. Failing to open the correct door will stun the player and they will take 1-4 damage. Players who have the Pharaoh’s Sceptre can use it on Jalsavrah, and it will place them directly next to the mummy.
When the player enters through the correct entrance, they have to speak to the Guardian mummy to start the game, at the start of the game, the player will be teleported to the first room and a five-minute timer will begin, at the end of this time, the player will be teleported back outside. Getting the Pharaoh’s Sceptre can also cause your trip to end instantly and teleport you outside.
At the start of each room, the player must disarm spear traps to get to the center area. There is a chance the player will fail when attempting to do this, leading to a 1-4 damage however, they will get 10 thieving experience if successful. In the center area, the player will find several containers which can be opened to get artefact and experience. Here is a list of the containers:
Urns: 13 lootable urns are found in every room, Players should be cautious when searching these as it can trigger a snake inside the urn to bite and damage the player for 1-4 damage while also poisoning them. The safe way to search these urns is to first check the urn for snakes and then use the snake charm on them before searching the urns, this significantly increases the chances of success when searching the urns.
These chests can be found in the center of each room. Players have a chance of receiving the Pharoah’s Sceptre inside these chests however, depending on your thieving level, there is a chance that the player will set off a trap and take 1-4 damage or cause a level 98 scarab swarm to appear, these monsters are dangerous as they can deal one damage every 0.6 seconds and also poison the player.’
Sarcophagus: A Sarcophagus can be found in each room, there is also a chance any of these will contain the Pharoah’s Sceptre, Strength is needed to open these, and they generally take longer to open. A level 84 mummy might also begin to attack the player after they open this Sarcophagus, this happens more frequently in higher levels.
Each room has four locked tomb doors, three of which are fake and one of which will lead to the next room. Players have to search all doors starting with the one closest to them to find the right door as soon as possible, picking the wrong door has no consequence and will not cause the player to take damage. Since the door is the same for all players, players should look out for other players who might have left the room recently to find the correct exit door. The door leading to a new room will change when a new player starts a round by entering room 1. Players can fail to open the right doors sometimes and they will have to try again without any consequence. Having a lockpick in your inventory increases the player’s chance of opening the door, however, it will halve the experience the player will gain from doing so.
The Pyramid Plunder is a good method of training thieving, it provides a less click-intensive alternative method while offering high experience rates as shown below.
Players can expect the following experience rates per hour
The experience rates can go higher than this, but when you factor in the failed searches, the experience rates drop significantly. For the player to get the highest experience rates. They should only loot;
If the players want to get the Pharaoh's Sceptre, they should search the sarcophagi from room 4 onwards, since they have a higher chance of getting the Pharaoh’s Sceptre from these than in the previous rooms.
Players can find several artefacts by searching the urns, chests, and sarcophagi. Pharoah’s Sceptre can be charged with these, or they can be sold to Simon Templeton or Grand Exchange for a decent price. Players should sell at the grand exchange since it is significantly faster and players can get a better price.
