OSRS Quests That Give Attack XP

A player’s attack level determines their accuracy in melee combat. The most common way players can train their attack is through combat. However, many quests give attack XP as a reward after completion. These quests reward players with a total attack XP of 100,624, as listed below. Which will get the player from 1-49 attack if the player doesn't train this manually.

Waterfall Quest Yes 13,750.

  • 2 gold bars, 40 mithril seeds, and 13,750 strength XP.
This waterfall quest is quite easy and short, it has no skill requirement, but it is advisable to bring good food to withstand attacks from level 86 fire giants and level 84 Moss guardians.
In Search of the Myreque Yes 600
  • 2 quest points
  • 600 defence XP
  • 600 strength XP
  • 600 hitpoints XP
  • 600 crafting XP
  • Acess to the Hollows
25 agility is required to do In Search of the Myreque quest. Players must also kill a level 97 Skeleton Hellhound.
The Grand tree Yes 18,400

  • 2,150 magic XP
The only requirement for the Grand Tree Quest is 25 agility. However, it is recommended to have decent magic or ranged stat to safespot the Black demon.
Fight Arena Yes 12,175

The fight arena is a short quest and has no requirements, However, players are expected to kill Khazard Scorpion (level 44), Khazard Ogre (level 63), and Bouncer (level 137). They all can be safespotted so decent magic or ranged stats are recommended.

  • 500 coins
  • Access to Tolna’s rift for combat training
Players must be able to defeat multiple levels 40 to 46 enemies to complete this quest.
Tree Gnome Village Yes 11,450 2 quest points This quest is also quite short, It has no skill requirements, but decent magic or ranged stats are recommended to safespot the Khazard warlord (level 112).
Fairytale I - Growing Pains Yes 2,000
  • 2 quest points
  • 3,500 farming XP and some magic secateurs.
Fairytale I - Growing Pains requires the completion of Lost City, Nature Spirit, and the ability to kill Tanglefoot (level 111)
Underground Pass Yes 3,000
  • 5 quest points
  • 3,000 agility XP
  • Iban’s staff, and the ability to use the Iban Blast spell upon completing the quest
This quest requires 25 ranged and completion of Biohazard. It’s recommended to have 60+ combat to kill 3 demons (level 91), 3 Paladins (level 62), Kalrag (level 89), and Discipline of Iban (level 13). All are safe-spottable except Discipline of Iban. 50+ agility is also recommended to cross obstacles easily
Mountain Daughter Yes 1,000

Mountain Daughter can be completed in moderate time and is moderately difficult. It requires 20 agility and the ability to kill a level 20 monster.
In Aid of the Myreque Yes 2,000
  • 2 quest points
  • 2,000 strength, 2,000 crafting, and 2,000 defence XP.
In Aid of the Myreque quest is the second quest in the Myreque quest series, it requires In search of the Myreque which requires completion of the Nature spirit quest. It also requires 25 agility, 25 crafting, 15 mining, and 7 magic.
Death Plateau Yes 3,000

The Death Plateau is a short quest where you are to help the Burthope Imperial Guard gain access to Death Plateau to defeat hostile trolls. It has no skill requirements and has only a few item requirements.
Heroes’ Quest Yes 3075
  • 3075 XP in attack, defence, strength, and hitpoints.
  • 2,075 ranged XP, 2725 fishing XP with 2,825 ranged XP.
  • 2,725 fishing XP, 2,825 cooking XP, 1,575 XP woodcutting XP, and 1,575 firemaking XP.
  • 2,275 smithing XP, 2.575 mining XP, 1,325 herblore XP
Heroes’ quest gives access to the Heroes’ Guild in Burthope, it is more difficult than the other quests on this list. To do this quest, players are required to have 55 quest points, 53 cooking, 53 fishing, 25 herblore, 50 mining, and completion of Shield of Arrav, Lost City, Merlin’s Crystal, and Dragon Slayer I. Players are required to kill Ice Queen (level 111), Entrana firebird (level 2), Jailer (level 47, optional) and Grip (level 22).
Tai Bwo Wannai Yes 2,500
  • 2 quest points,
  • 5,000 fishing XP 
  • 5,000 cooking XP, and 2,500 strength XP
This quest is a continuation of the Jungle potion. It requires 15 agility, 30 cooking 5 fishing and completion of Jungle potion. Players must only kill a monkey (level 3) during this quest.
The Fremenik Trials Yes 2,812
  • 2,812 XP in, agility, crafting, defence, fishing, fletching, hitpoints, strength, thieving, and woodcutting. 
  • Access to the islands of Miscellania, Etceteria, Neitznot, and Jatizso,
  • Ability to wear the Fremennik warrior, berserker, archer, and farseer helms
  • Ability to have Fossegrimen create the enchanted lyre (i)
  • A herring and fremennik name
The Fremenik Trials is a quest that enables the player to become an honorary member of the Fremennik people of Rellekka after passing a series of tests. It requires 25 fletching, 40 fletching, 40 crafting, ability to defeat level 69 Draugen, fairy strong warrior without armour, weapons or spells.
Knight Waves (minigame) Yes 20,000
  • 20,000 strength XP
  • 20,000 defence XP
  • 20,000 hitpoints XP
  • Access to Chivalry and Piety prayer, with the ability to change one’s spawn point to Camelot.
This is a miniquest located on the top floor of Camelot Castle within the Camelot training grounds. During this miniquest, players have to fight a total of eight tough knights above level 100 who each will drain certain combat stats.

 

Attack XP from Major Quests and Items

Barrows gloves can be purchased by players who have completed the Recipe for Disaster quest series, which requires 175 quest points. This section shows the quest that must be completed for barrows gloves and the attack XP rewards they give. This is useful for players who want to maintain a low attack level but also want the Barrows gloves. 

 

  • Underground pass - 3,000 attack XP
  • The Grand Tree - 18,400 attack XP
  • Tree Gnome Village - 11,450 attack XP
  • Waterfall Quest - 13,750 attack XP
  • Death plateau - 3,000 attack XP
  • Heroes’ Quest - 3,075 attack XP

 

A total attack XP of 52,675 would be awarded when completing the quest requirements for Barrows gloves, this would take the player from level 1 to 43 attack. Monkey Madness I is also a requirement for Barrows gloves, but the attack XP reward is optional, it can only be claimed by speaking to Daero after the completion of the quest.

Below are the quest requirements of Monkey Madness I that give attack XP 

  • The Grand Tree - 12,175 attack XP
  • Tree Gnome Village - 11,450 attack XP

 

A total attack XP of 23,625 will be awarded from completing the quest requirements of Monkey Madness II, this would take the player from level 1 to 35 attack. 

 

Attack XP from Desert Treasure I

This quest is quite useful for several pures as it rewards players with the powerful ancient Magicks spellbook. Here are the quest requirements of Desert Treasure that give attack XP.

 

  • Waterfall Quest  -  13,750 attack XP
  • Death Plateau -   3,000 attack XP

 

A total attack XP of 16,750 XP will be awarded from completing the quest requirements of Desert Treasure I, this would take the player from level 1 to 32 attack.
