OSRS Ranging Guild Guide & XP Per Hour

OSRS Ranging Guild Guide & XP Per Hour

Ranging guild is a training area that contains the shooting range minigame and several shops for ranging equipments, requiring 40 ranged to enter.

Location of the Ranging guild

The ranging guild is located between Seers’ Village and East Ardougne.

The Tower Archers

Tower Archers are on four different platforms on the top floor of the Ranging Guild. The weakest is north while the strongest archer is west. They have a max hit of 4 and an attack range of 9. Players can speak to the judge to start the minigame and attack these 2 archers with ranged or magic attacks but must have an attack range of at least 9. Set your longbow to long-range style to reach this.

In this minigame, there are four levels of difficulty and the platforms are inaccessible, so arrows shot cannot be retrieved without Ava’s devices. Players also have chance to pick up the arrows shot by opposing archers.

The Shootout Minigame

Shooting targets are at the eastern corner of the Ranging guild. Players can shoot at these targets with their own bow, but must use the bronze arrows given to them by the Judge. More arrows can be bought from him for 100 coins.

To start the minigame, pay the competition Judge 200 coins and you will receive 10 bronze arrows. Each game lasts for 10 shots, after which the players will receive archery tickets depending on how much they score for the game. Points are awarded for hitting the target and ranged XP is rewarded for every 2 points obtained.

Strategy for the Shootout Minigame

  • A player’s ranged accuracy determines how close a shot will be to the bullseye. So ensure to use the best ranged gear you have. Equipments like the Void knight equipment still provide their set effects.
  • Use a Scorching bow. The bow a player uses must be able to fire bronze arrows for this minigame and the Scorching bow is the best weapon that can fire bronze arrows.
  • Use prayers like Hawk Eye or rigour with ranging potions.
  • Click the target once every second to fire at it.
