Agrith-Naar Mechanics

During the final battle, you cannot use a Dwarf multicannon—attempting to will trigger the message: “Some kind of demonic magic prevents the cannon from functioning.

Agrith-Naar is a level 100 demon who stays rooted in place for the entire fight. He attacks with both Melee and Fire Blast, depending on your position and prayers:

  • Default attack: Melee
  • Uses Fire Blast if you activate Protect from Melee or move out of melee range
  • Teleports you back with Telekinetic Grab if you walk out of melee range while using Protect from Magic.

Strategy for Agrith-Naar

Full protection is possible by flinching with Protect from Magic while standing two tiles away and running back out of range after he casts Telekinetic Grab. This method is very timing-sensitive and not easy to pull off.

To defeat Agrith-Naar, you must deal the final blow with Silverlight. It is possible to use another weapon for the fight and switch to Silverlight just before the final hit lands—as long as the switch is made in time. After Agrith-Naar is defeated, your Silverlight absorbs his blood, transforming into Darklight—a stronger version of the weapon.

Safespot for Agirth Naar

The safespot shown above can be used if using magic. Deal one damage and hide behind the object to prevent his attack from damaging you. Do this till his health is low, then wield the Silverlight to finish the fight.

Note: If your prayer runs out during the post-fight dialogue or you cancel it too quickly, simply unequip Darklight to trigger the final dialogue and complete the quest
