Walkthrough of the Depths of Despair

  • Talk to Lord Kandur Hosidius in the house west of the vinery. Reply 2, 1.

Lord Kandor and Chef Olivia

  • Speak to Chef Olivia in Lord Kandur's kitchen.
  • Speak to Galana in the Arceuus Library.

Galana

  • Find the Varlamore Envoy. Ask Galana for the approximate location of the book. Search each Bookshelf in the location she tells you.
  • Read the Varlamore Envoy.
  • Bring the following items: Food (if low level), A Weapon
  • Enter the Crabclaw Caves. Use the Skills necklace to teleport to the Woodcutting guild, then run here to make it faster.

Location of Crabslaw Isles

  • Enter the crevice. Kill a sand crab for the easy diary while you're here.
  • Cross the stepping stones.
  • Climb the rocks.
  • Climb down the tunnel at the end.

Crabclaw isles

  • Speak to Artur Hosidius.
  • Kill the Sand Snake.
  • Search the chest

Sand snake

  • Return to Lord Kandur Hosidius and talk to him.
