OSRS The Feud Quest Guide

Ali Morrisane—RuneScape’s self-proclaimed “greatest merchant”—is in trouble. His goods are flying off the shelves faster than he can restock them. Now, he’s looking to you for help. He needs someone to travel to his unruly hometown of Pollnivneach, just south of the Shantay Pass, and recruit some much-needed assistance.

General Questing recommendations

• Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog.

Item requirements for the Feud

• 800 coins
• 1 leather or graceful gloves

Combat gear: Ranged or Mage gear is recommended for safespotting.

• Bandit Champion (level 70) - Safe spottable
• Tough Guy (level 75) - Safe spottable

Walkthrough of the Feud

Bring all required items when starting so you don’t have to visit a bank throughout the quest.

• Talk to Ali Morrisane in Al Kharid to start the quest. Reply 1, 2, 1, 2.

• Bring the following items: Coins. Buy a Kharidian Headpiece and a Fake Beard to create a disguise.
• Create a disguise by using the Kharidian Headpiece on the Fake Beard.
• Go south, buy a shantay pass and go through Shantay Pass.
• Right click the rug merchant and travel to Pollnivneach via magic carpet.
• Buy 3 beers from the bartender and use them on Drunken Ali to get him in the pub get to him to explain where his son is. Talk with him between beers.

• Right-click and talk to a Menaphite thug to figure out how their dispute started with the bandits.

• Talk to a bandit located north of Pollniveach to figure out their issues with the Menaphites.

• Talk to Ali the Camel Man to try and get two camels to solve the dispute. Reply 4, 2, 3.

• Tell the bandits located north of Pollniveach that the Menaphites have agreed to return the camel.
• Tell the Menaphites that the bandits have agreed to return the camel.

First Job

• Talk to Ali the Operator to get a job from him. Reply 1. 

• Pickpocket a villager. There are several Villagers in the centre of Pollinveach.
• Lure a villager, then talk to a street urchin and get them to distract a villager; once he has them distracted, pickpocket them from behind. The locations of the street Urchins are shown below. First, right-click a stranger and click lure then ensure he is following you then talk to any of the street Urchins. After speaking to the Street urchin while the Villager is following you, the Villager will say “excuse me” there is your chance to pickpocket him

• Talk to Ali the Operator to get a blackjack. Reply 1. 
• Wield the Blackjack. Right-click and Lure a villager to a secluded place or an empty building, knock them out, and then pickpocket them while they are unconscious.

Second Job

• Bring the following items: 1x Desert Disguise, 1x Leather or Graceful Gloves
• Talk to Ali the Operator to get the second job.
• Wear your gloves and disguise, then hide behind the cactus.

• Use the key on the door shown above to open it.
• Go up the stairs north.
• Search the painting to reveal the safe. 

• Enter the code: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8.
• Give Ali the Operator the jewels to get your final task from him.

Rising Up

• Bring the following items:Coins
• Speak to a Menaphite member to identify the traitor.
• Inform Ali the Operator once you’ve found the traitor.
• Talk to Ali the Barman to learn where Traitorous Ali is hiding. Reply 3.
• Visit Ali the Hag and ask her to make poison for you.

• Use coins on the snake charmer’s money pot to get a snake charm and basket.

• Use the Snake Charm on a snake to capture it.

• Talk to Ali the Hag to give him the snake.
• Talk to the Kebab Salesman to get a special hot sauce.

• Use the Red Hot Sauce on the trough in the building at the start of the Pollnivneach agility course and wait for a camel to produce dung.

• Only collect brown/Ugthanki dung by using your bucket on it.
• If you plan to do My Arm’s Big Adventure or Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, consider collecting four extra dung.
• Give the dung to Ali the Hag.
• Poison the beer glass in the Pub to eliminate Traitorous Ali.

• Report back to Ali the Operator to confirm the job is done.

Finishing Off

• Required Items: Combat gear (Ranged or Magic gear recommended if safe spotting)

• Talk to the Menaphite Leader and prepare for a tough fight. 

• You can safe spot him inside the tent by using a chair.
• Tak to a villager and they will be angry you broke the balance of power.
• Talk to the Bandit leader and be prepared to fight a Bandit Champion. 

• You can safespot him with the chair the building to the east.

• Talk to a villager and they will be angry still.
• Talk to Ali the Mayor.

• Talk to Ali Morrisane in Al Kharid, where you started the quest to finish it
