Lost City is all about the hidden realm of Zanaris. A bunch of adventurers have set up camp in Lumbridge Swamp, claiming they’re looking for the legendary lost city. It’s up to you to figure out what’s really going on and discover how to get into Zanaris, the mysterious “moon” of Gielinor.

Item Requirements for Lost City
- Any axe: Don’t start with it. you can’t take it to Entrana so you need to obtain it there.
- Knife
How Long it takes
The Lost City quest took me about 7 minutes to complete. It’s pretty quick, especially if you use safespots for the zombies and Tree Spirit.
Recommended Items for Lost City
- Runes for Crumble Undead: Useful for dealing damage for Zombies on Entrana (requires 39 magic, 2 air runes, 2 earth runes, and 1 chaos rune). You need to kill them till they drop an axe.
- Lumbridge teleport
- Food: You need a couple of food to heal damage from the Zombies
Enemies to Defeat
- Multiple Zombies (level 25) (can be safespotted).
- Dramen Tree Spirit (level 101) (can be safespotted).
Walkthrough for Lost City
Recommended: Lumbridge teleport
- Teleport to Lumbridge, head west, and talk to the Warrior just southeast of Draynor Village. Select the dialogue options in this order: 1, 3, 1, 2, 1 to start the quest and he will reveal a Leprechaun is hiding behind a nearby tree.

- Find a nearby tree that only shows the “Chop” option instead of “Chop down.” Attempt to chop it, and a leprechaun named Shamus will appear.
- Talk to Shamus. Reply 2 and he’ll tell you that to enter the portal, you first need a Dramenwood staff, which is made from a Dramen tree found only in the Entrana Dungeon

Getting a Dramen branch
Make sure you don’t equip any weapon or item with combat bonus
Recommended: 50+ Chaos runes, Earth runes, and Air runes for Crumble Undead (level 39 Magic), Lumbridge to start next section and some food (if not using safespot)
- Bank all your weapons and armor (including the axe). Head to Port Sarim and talk to the Monk of Entrana shown below. Reply 2 to travel to Entrana—remember, if you have any combat gear equipped, he won’t let you on the boat.

- Climb off the ship, head north through the altar, and then climb down the ladder on the north side of the island (marked by the quest icon below). Once you go down, the only way out is by teleport, so make sure you’ve got the runes and food you need. Reply 2.

Safespotting Zombies
- Head east, then south, and kill zombies until one drops a bronze axe. You can safespot them using the mushrooms on the east wall, as shown below. Crumble Undead makes a big difference here, so I recommend using it. You can’t autocast the spell, so you’ll need to manually click it from your spellbook and use on the zombies.

- Keep heading south and just run past the demons—they’re not worth fighting. Try to cut a branch from the Dramen tree shown below, and be ready for a level 101 Tree Spirit to spawn. You can deal with it safely by using magic or ranged and safespotting behind the nearby fungus. The Tree spirit has 35% weakness against magic - I recommend using any fire spells against it

- Cut at least one branch from the Dramen tree—ideally grab around four so you don’t have to come back later for future quests. Use a knife on a dramen branch to make a dramen staff - Be careful so you don’t cut all into dramen staff
- Once that’s done, use your home teleport to Lumbridge, then enter the shed south of Lumbridge with the dramen staff equipped. You’ll be teleported to Zanaris, officially unlocking it and completing the quest.

Congratulations! You have completed the Lost City quest.
