Drakes are mid-to-high level Slayer creatures located within the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. Known for their dangerous, fiery breath and solid drop table, they're a popular task for players seeking steady profit and a chance at rare upgrades like the Drake's claw or tooth. This guide will walk you through everything you need to prepare for, survive, and profit from Drakes. The guardian drake is a superior variant of the drake. It has a chance of spawning after purchasing the unlock Bigger and Badder for 150 Slayer reward points from any Slayer master.
It is recommended to use cannon to maximize profits.

Drakes are an excellent task for Ironmen due to their consistent drops and mid-level/afkable difficulty. They drop noted bones, herbs, and alchables, which not only help you with slayer EXP but also with supplies to level up other skills, apart from unique items. Be sure to bring a Bonecrusher, Herb Sack, and Rune Pouch with you to minimize bank trips. Use Protect from Melee and an anti-dragon shield with high melee stats to minimize supplies. Prioritize Drake's tooth and claw for upgrading your boots--essential gear upgrades for future content. Always bring heat-resistant boots, such as Boots of Stone, and prepare a fast bank route to extend your trips.
