OSRS Goblin Diplomacy Quest Guide: Fast & Easy Guide

OSRS Goblin Diplomacy Quest Guide: Fast & Easy Guide

During the Goblin Diplomacy quest, players resolve a long-standing dispute among the goblins of Goblin Village.

General Questing recommendations: Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section, hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog.

How long it takes: I completed Goblin Diplomacy in roughly five minutes. It should take you the same since the quest is quite easy.

Item Requirements for Goblin Diplomacy

  • Blue dye
  • Orange dye
  • 3 Goblin mails

Obtaining the required items on Ironman

  • Blue dye: can be obtained from Aggie in Draynor Village for 2 woad leaves and 5 coins.
  • Orange dye: Orange dye is made by combining red and yellow dye. Red dye can be created by taking 3 Redberries to Aggie in Draynor Village along with 5 coins.

Locations of Goblin Mail

Goblin Mail can be found around the Goblin village.

  • The first is up the ladder in a crate, south of the village.

Walkthrough of Goblin Diplomacy

  • Talk to General Bentnoze or General Wartface in Goblin Village, found north of Falador and east of Taverley in Asgarnia. They’ll explain that the goblins are close to a civil war over armour colours, and they believe orange armour might finally settle the dispute.

goblin villlage

  • Dye one Goblin Mail orange, dye another blue, and leave the third one as the original brown.

General wartface

  • Return to Goblin Village and give the generals the orange armour first. Grubfoot will try it on, but they’ll dislike it. They’ll then ask for blue, so hand over the blue goblin mail—same result, still not good enough. Finally, they request brown, so give them the untouched goblin mail. After Grubfoot tries it on again, they decide the original brown colour is the best.

Congratulations! You have completed Goblin Diplomacy.
