OSRS Goblin Diplomacy Quest Guide: Fast & Easy Guide

Goblin Diplomacy is a quick, beginner-friendly quest where you help settle a long-standing argument between the goblin generals over the “correct” armour colour. It requires minimal items and can be completed in just a few minutes.

Item Requirements for Goblin Diplomacy

• Blue dye
• Orange dye
• 3 Goblin mails: Can be obtained during the quest. Check below

Falador teleport: to start the quest.

How to Get the Required Items (Ironman Friendly)

Blue Dye

• Buy from Aggie in Draynor Village.
• Cost: 2 woad leaves + 5 coins
• Woad leaves can be bought from Wyson the gardener in Falador Park.
   

Orange Dye

• Orange dye = Red dye + Yellow dye
• Red dye: Give Aggie 3 redberries + 5 coins
• Yellow dye: Give Aggie 2 onions + 5 coins

Walkthrough of Goblin Diplomacy

Start the Quest

They’ll explain that their argument over armour colour is getting out of hand, and they want to test new colours to decide once and for all.

Goblin Mail Locations

These items are required for the next part of the quest.

All 3 Goblin mail needed can be looted directly in Goblin Village as shown in the images below:

• South building – climb the ladder highlighted and search the crate.

• The second goblin mail can be found in a crate in the west hut.

• The last one can be found in a crate, north of the general's hut.

Prepare the Goblin Mails

• Dye one goblin mail orange
• Dye one goblin mail blue
• Keep one goblin mail brown (unchanged)
   

Present the Armour

• Return to the generals:
• Give them the orange armour → They reject it. 
• Give them the blue armour → Also rejected.
• Finally, give them the brown armour → They decide the original colour is the best.
   

With the argument settled, the goblin civil war ends.
