OSRS Monk's Friend Quest Guide

Monk’s Friend is a short and easy quest where the Monks of Ardougne Monastery ask you to do a couple of favours to allow them to throw a party without setbacks.

General Questing recommendations

• Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog. 

Item requirements for Monk’s friend

Normal accounts can buy these items directly from the Grand Exchange.

• Jug of water
• Logs

Obtaining the required items on Ironman

• Jug of water: Jugs can be bought from a general store and used on any water source to get a jug of water.
• Logs can be obtained from cutting regular trees.

It has no skill or quest requirements.

Walkthrough of Monk’s Friend

• Talk to Brother Omad in the Monastery, south of West Ardougne. Reply 1, 1 to start the quest. The fastest method to get here is to travel to Ardougne through Ardougne teleport or boat from Rimmington, then run south.

• Go down the ladder in the circle of stones, west of the Monastery.

• Pick up the Child’s blanket in the room to the south, then go back up the ladder.

• Bring the blanket back to Brother Omad.
• Talk to Brother Omad again. Reply 1, 2.
• Talk to Brother Cedric, north of the Monastery. After the conversation, talk to him again. Reply 2.

• Talk to Cedric again with the logs. 
• Talk to Brother Omad to finish the quest.
