OSRS The Knight's Sword Quest Guide

The Knight’s sword is about Sir Vyvin’s ceremonial sword, which his Squire accidentally lost. The player has to help him find a replacement without Sir Vyvin finding out.

General Questing recommendations

• Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog. 

Skill Requirements for the Knight’s Sword

• 10 mining.
• Able to survive attacks from Ice Warriors (level 57) and Ice Giants (level 53).

Item Requirements for the Knight’s Sword

These items can be purchased directly from the Grand Exchange on normal accounts.

• Redberry pie.
• 2 iron bars.
• Any pickaxe.

Obtaining the required items on Ironman

• Redberry pie: Ironman must first add Redberries to the pie shell and then cook the result to get a Redberry pie.
• 2 iron bars: Iron bars can be obtained from the North of Ferox Enclave in the Wilderness. Remember, there is a chance of running into a PKer in the wilderness, so be careful, especially if you are a hardcore Ironman.

• Any pickaxe

Recommendations for the Knight’s Sword

These items can be bought directly from the Grand Exchange.

• Varrock teleport.
• Falador teleport.

Ironman accounts have to run to these locations if they don’t have the spell unlocked.

Walkthrough of the Knight’s Sword

• Talk to the Squire in Falador Castle’s courtyard. Reply 1, 2, 1,1 to start the quest. The fastest way to get here is with the Falador teleport.

• Talk to Reldo in Varrock Castle’s library. Reply 2.

• Talk to Thurgo, just south of Port Sarim, and give him a Redberry pie. Reply 2.

• Talk to him again and reply 1.

• Go back to the Falador castle and talk to the Squire in the Castle’s courtyard.
• Climb up the east ladder in Falador Castle.

• Open the door to the west and climb the staircase west of the ladder on the 1st floor.

• Open the cupboard to the south and search it. Make sure Sir Vyvin is in the other room.

• Return to Thurgo in the Mudskipper point with the portrait. Reply 1.
• Climb down the ladder that is northeast of Thurgo. Be prepared for Ice giants and Ice warriors to attack you. 

• Mine the Blurite in the eastern cavern and return to Thurgo with the Blurite ore and 2 iron bars. Reply 1.

• Return to the Squire to finish the quest.
