OSRS Tower of Life Quest Guide

Tower of life is a quest where a group of alchemists attempts to create a living creature. 

General Questing recommendations

• Enable RuneLite Quest Helper in your RuneLite plugin section. 
• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog.

• Beer
• Hammer
• Saw

Obtaining the required items for Ironman

• Beer: They can be bought from any bar.
• Hammer: They can be bought sawmill Operator.

• Saw: They can be bought sawmill Operator.

It has no quest requirements and no enemies to defeat.

Walkthrough for Tower of Life Quest

• Talk to Effigy outside the Tower of Life. Reply 1 to start the quest.

• Talk to Bonafido, who is north of the tower.

• Talk to ‘Black-eye’. Reply 3, 1, 2 to get the Hard Hat. 
• Talk to ‘No fingers’, who is also at the northern part of the Tower.

• Right-click to Pickpocket “No fingers”. It might take a few tries. 

• Talk to ‘The Guns’.
• Search the bushes to the south for some Builder’s Trousers. Try the southeast bushes first.

• Equip the builder clothes and speak to Bonafido. Reply 2, 3, 1, 2. 
• Bring a saw and hammer, then enter the tower.

• Search the crate for 3 metal sheets. Build the Pressure Machine.

• Search the second crate, just south of the first, for four coloured balls.

• Search the eastern crate for 4 valve wheels.

• Climb up stairs to the machine.

Fixing Pipe Machine

• Left-click and reply 1 to fix the pipe machine.

• Calibrate the pipe machine.

• Turn wheel 1 to the left until the ball plugs the hole
• Turn wheel 1 to the right until the pipe fills
• Pull the left lever
• Turn wheel 2 to the left until the ball plugs the hole.
• Turn wheel 2 to the right until the pipe fills
• Turn wheel 3 to the right until the water starts dripping.
• Turn wheel 3 left once to plug the hole.
• Turn wheel 3 to the right until the pipe fills.
• Pull the right lever.
• Turn wheel 4 to the right until the water starts dripping.
• Turn wheel 4 left once to plug the hole.
• Turn wheel 4 to the right until the pipe fills. 
• You will receive a message saying the machine is working when the pressure machine is as below.

• Climb downstairs and search this crate for 4 pipes.

• Search the crate east of the first crate for 5 pipe rings.

• Search the crate for 6 Rivets, then climb upstairs twice this time.

Fixing second Pipe machine 

• Left-click the pipe machine, then reply 1 to fix it.

• For this puzzle, players must position each pipe correctly by using the symbols below to move and rotate them until they fit into the right spots.

• Climb downstairs to the last floor and search the crates.
• Search the southern crate for 5 metal bars and 4 binding fluids.

• Climb up to the top floor. By climbing up the stairs twice, then climb up the ladder.

Fixing Cage

• Build the cage. 

• Quick guide:
  When each side is finished, turn the cage with the right arrow.

Side Four

The cage should now be complete!

• Climb downstairs and go back outside to talk to Effigy at the west side of the Tower.
• Open the tower door and climb up to the top floor, following the alchemists.
• After the cutscence, climb down to the last floor and talk to Efiggy again. 
• Go back into the tower and talk to the Homonculus on the top floor of the tower. Reply 2, 2, 1, 3, 3, 1, 1.
• Climb down to the last floor again and talk to Efiggy on the west side of the Tower.
• Talk to the Homonculus in the basement. Open the basement door west to complete the quest.
