OSRS Tree Gnome Village Quest Guide

Tree Gnome Village is the first quest in the Gnome quest series. It involves helping Gnomes retrieve stolen orbs.

• Hold your space bar to skip through NPC dialog, and use number keys for chatting dialog. 

Item requirements for Tree Gnome Village

The items below can be purchased from the Grand Exchange on a normal account. Ironman accounts have to get the items themselves.

• 6 normal logs: Can be obtained from cutting regular trees.
• Combat equipment: Wizard hat and robe with Fire Blast will work well while safe spotting. The best method to safe-spot the Khazard Warlord is shown below.
• Food

Walkthrough of Tree Gnome Village

• Talk to King Bolren in the northwestern part of the center of the Tree Gnome Maze. To get here, teleport to the Castle Wars, then run northeast. Follow the blue line path to get to the center of the maze and squeeze through the railing to get to Bolren. Reply 1, 1.

• Speak to Commander Montai, north of the Tree Gnome Maze. Reply 1 and speak to him again to give him the wood. 

• Speak to Montai again—reply 2.

• Speak to the first tracker Gnome (tracker gnome 1), northwest, then speak to the second one (tracker gnome 2) inside the jail, and speak to the third one  (tracker gnome 3) and fire the ballista, south—reply 4.

• Enter the building to the north, through the crumbled wall, then climb up the ladder west and search the chest for the first orb.

• Climb down the ladder and leave the building through the door south of it on the bottom floor.

• Right-click and follow Elkoy outside the maze to travel to the center and speak to King Bolren, where you started the quest. Reply 1.

• Wear your best gear, ready to fight the Warlord, south-west of West Ardougne. Talk to him when ready.

• Players can kill him with 35 magic and 20+ HP. Make sure to use the safe-spot shown below. Attack him, then run there, which is outside his attack range.

• Pick up the orb he drops and talk to King Bolren in the center of the Tree Gnome Maze, where you started the quest, to complete it.
