OSRS Piety Med Level PK Build Guide: Quests & Training

OSRS Piety Med Level PK Build Guide: Quests & Training

A Piety PK Build account is known for having 75 Attack, 75 Defense, 70 Prayer, 99 Ranged, and 99 Magic; this allows you to use armor and weapons like 126 Combat Max Main accounts while keeping your combat level low, usually between 98 and 110. This guide covers the ideal stats, mandatory quests, training methods you need to build the perfect Mid-Level PKer, and more.

The Ideal Piety Med Stats

Some choose to leave Attack at 60 to use Dragon Claws and Dragon Daggers, but in this guide, we'll focus on 75, as this will allow us to use the maximum number of Special weapons possible and achieve better results in PvP. Your target stats should look exactly like this:

  •   Attack: 50-75
  •   Strength: 99
  •   Defence: 70-75
  •   Ranged: 99
  •   Prayer: 70-77
  •   Magic: 95-99 (for Ice Barrage, Vengeance, and Fire Surges)

Are you interested in buying a fully completed account? We have premade Piety's Accounts and many others ready for combat—every day.

Ideal Piety Med Quests

  1.   King’s Ransom & Knight Waves Training Ground: This quest comes with a Miniquest at the end to unlock the "Piety" prayer, which is essential for this type of account.
  2.   Recipe for Disaster: With this quest, we unlock the Barrows Gloves. The first step of this guide will get you a pair of Barrows Gloves From Scratch; we obviously have a guide ready for you to follow. We recommend going there and then coming back here when you have finished it.
  3.   Lunar Diplomacy: Essential for PvP to be able to use the Lunar Spellbook, more specifically Vengeance, which will maximize your chances of KOing other players.
  4.   Desert Treasure 1: At first, we will use it to level up Magic in the fastest way in the game, and then in PvP to use spells like Ice Barrage, etc.
  5.   Dragon Slayer II: Ideal for using Ferocius Gloves the best Gloves Slot in the game.
  6. Monkey Madness II: Ideal for using Heavy Ballista.
  7.   Desert Treasure 2: Ideal for wearing Ultor Ring (Optional)
  8. The Fremmenik Exiles: Ideal for Neitiznot Faceguard one of the best Helmet slot in the game (Optional)

Early Game Training

Ok so let's start with the early combat training

Ranged Training (1-45)

  • Sand Crabs AFK: Use all the Shortbows/Darts until you can use the Magic Shortbow (i) and stick to it with Amethyst arrows at Sand Crabs. Leveling up Ranged before starting other things is better because it will make things easier later.

Magic Training (1-50)

  • Splash: Train from level 1 splashing to level 50-70 to be able to proceed to better places to train, such as Bursting in MM2 tunnels, as it is one of the places where you can gain XP faster.

Lunar Diplomacy

This quest is essential for this type of account build, so we'll start with it. The quest bosses are relatively easy and can be killed with low-level stats. Once this quest is completed, we'll unlock the Lunar Spellbooks, which contain the Vengeance spell. This spell reflects 75% of the next hit your character receives, a great strategy for securing combos and KOs in PvP, which we'll discuss later.

Money Madness 2 and Dragon Slayer 2

A Piety PK Build account can't be considered good if it hasn't completed two essential quests: Monkey Madness 2 and Dragon Slayer 2. I recommend using the RuneLite Quest Helper plugin, as it will show you all the requirements your specific account is missing, so it will be different for everyone.

One of the most difficult requirements for completing either of these two quests is reaching 200 quest points, so we'll focus on achieving this first. Once we have all these quests completed, we'll also have several boosted skills thanks to the rewards we earn along the way.

It's recommended to follow our Efficient Guide to obtain Barrow Gloves. Similarly, Barrows Gloves are a primary requirement for this type of account. Once you've completed it, you'll be very close to 200 quest points, and from there you'll just need to complete a few more quests.

These are the mandatory quests required by Dragon Slayer 2 and Monkey Madness 2, so you can use them as a starting guide. Once you have them all completed, see how many quest points you're missing and finish them off with quests that have high quest point rewards. Remember that all these quests will require you to kill bosses or fight several NPCs.

Minigame Items

These items will save you thousands of GP when PKing. We highly recommend obtaining these items before going to PvP.

Fighter Torso

Obtained from Barbarian Assault. Gives the same Strength bonus as a Bandos Chestplate with so much less GP cost. Do you need someone to help you get the Fighter Torso? You can hire our Barbarian Assault services here.

Dragon/Avernic Defender

It has almost the same Stats as a Dragonfire Shield and costs nothing. Gathered at the Warriors' Guild while training in Combat.

Fire Cape / Infernal Cape

Especially Infernal Cape. The ultimate melee cape slots. Do you need someone to help you get the Infernal Cape? You can hire our Infernal Services here.

Full Elite Void Set (3 helms)

To obtain a full set of Void armor, we require 1250 points, and 1650 points if we want to use the Void Elite armor with the completed Western Diaries.

Hard Western Diary

Necessary to unlock the ability to obtain Elite Void Equipment for 200 extra points per piece (400 points total).

Ava's assembler

To obtain the Vorkath's Ava, we simply need to use a Vorkath's Head on our Ava's Assembler, it has a drop rate of 1/50 when killing Vorkath. This drop is often obtained sooner than expected.

Quiver

It is obtained by defeating Sol Heredit in the Fortis Colosseum. This is very hard if you are not a very knowledgeable player. It can therefore be advised to buy an OSRS quiver instead.

Melee (Attack, Strength, Defence)

Once you reach 70 base melee in sand crabs and with the quests and experience completed, we can proceed to start training up to 99, which won't be a quick grind, but once completed, we will have one of the best account builds for PKing.

Melee Training (70-99)

Nightmare Zone (NMZ) Once you reach 70 HP and 70 Defence, equip full Dharok's armor, rock cake down to 1 HP, and use Absorption/Overload potions. You can AFK and still gain massive XP rates all the way to 99 Strength and 75 Attack/Defence.

Ranged & Magic

Assuming you've already finished Monkey Madness 2, we can access the MM2 tunnels, which, when used correctly, offer one of the best EXP/HR rates in the game.

Ranged Training (45-99)

Chinning at MM2 Caves will grant you one of the fastest Ranged XP in the entire game. It is way better to buy OSRS gold and train ranged this way rather then doing slower methods wasting a lot of hours.

Magic Training (62-99)

Ice Bursting or Barraging the Maniacal Monkeys will speed up your Magic level to 99. It is highly recommended to bring an Imbued Heart, which can be expensive, but the magic boost it gives helps you level up to 99 faster.

Account Ready to PK!

Once you have

  • 75 Attack
  • 99 Strength

With this type of account, many opponents will think you're an easy target, but you always have an ace up your sleeve: Vengeance, the spell from the Lunar Spellbook. You can take advantage of having lower defense and keep your HP high, wait for your opponent to attack you with a special attack, let Vengeance do its job, and then finish them off with your special attack weapon. It might be difficult at first, but with practice, you'll see it become an almost automatic tactic. We hope this guide makes things easier for you and helps you train your account as efficiently as possible. Good luck!
