Do you want to leave your account AFK while collecting some points in a minigame where you can use the points you earn for cosmetics that aren't very popular in Oldschool Runescape? This guide is for you. Trouble brewing is a minigame where two teams compete to see who makes the best brews. Besides completing one of these minigames, being a Medium Diary, you can also earn points while playing AFK. This guide'll teach you the requirements, how to enter, what to bring, and everything else. Let's get to it!
ㅤ
The easiest way to reach Trouble Brewing is with the Grouping tab:

Alternatively, you can travel manually to Mos Le’Harmless after completing Cabin Fever.
ㅤ
Talk to Jimmy outside the waiting area. Right-click him → Join Team.

Note: Your head slot must be empty, or you can’t join.

Inside the waiting room, there’s a bank chest and a deposit box. Use these to prepare.

Wait for the game to start. A message box will pop up. Click Yes (Arr!) immediately to enter.

ㅤ
If you just want the Karamja Diary requirement done, you don’t need to actively play the minigame. Here’s the simplest method:
Grab buckets from the workbench (25–28 at a time).

With RuneLite, shift-right-click the bucket to make “Take 5” the left-click option and go west to the water pump and fill all your buckets.

Go east → upstairs → west to the hopper.

Use your buckets on the hopper to deposit water.

The hopper can store up to 100 buckets per player.
With RuneLite, enable the Trouble Brewing plugin to track progress.
Use Entity Hider RuneLite plugin to avoid trolls blocking the hopper clicks.
Once you’ve filled 100 buckets, you can safely AFK for the rest of the game.
Each game lasts 20 minutes. Filling the hopper takes about 3–5 minutes, then you can tab out until it ends. AFKing one full game gives you ~200 Pieces of Eight.
ㅤ
At the end of a game, you’ll receive a certain amount of Pieces of Eight, Trouble Brewing’s reward currency which you can spend on the Honest Jimmy’s shop:

Trouble Brewing isn't a very popular minigame, but it's actually one of the easiest, if not the easiest. Aside from completing a diary, you earn a few points to collect for something in the shop. In the end, there are 3 steps and only 2 if you have already completed the cabin fever quest.
