OSRS Ardougne Knights Thieving Guide: XP & GP Per Hour

Knights of Ardougne are knights located in the East Ardougne marketplace. They protect all stalks by attacking players that they observe stealing from them. Players can pickpocket from these knights to get a coin pouch worth 50 coins and 84.3 thieving, making it a popular thieving method, which is quite profitable.

Rogue equipment

The rogue's equipment is beneficial when training thieving, as with the full set, there is a 100% chance of pickpocketing twice the loot from an NPC. It requires 50 thieving and 50 agility to equip and the full set takes only around 90 minutes to obtain.

Ardougne cloak 2

This is a reward for completing the Medium Ardougne Diary. It gives a 10% increased chance to pickpocket an NPC in Ardougne.

Glove of Silence

When worn, it increases your chance of successfully pickpocketing an NPC by 5% but will break after 62 failed attempts and requires 54 hunter to wear. To make them, the players must bring two unnoted Dark kebbit furs and 600 coins to the Fancy Clothes store in Varrock, to Pellem in the Hunter Guild, or to the Priddinas' seamstress

Dodgy necklace

While equipped, it provides a 25% chance to prevent the player from being stunned and damaged while pickpocketing an NPC. each necklace holds 10 charges and is sold on the grand exchange.

Shadow veil

Shadow Veil is an Arceuus spell, requiring 47 magic and completion of A Kingdom Divided to be cast. When cast, it grants a 15% chance to avoid being stunned and damaged while pickpocketing NPCs.

Ring of life

If you plan doing this method while being AFK, this ring of life becomes helpful. When worn, it will automatically teleport the wearer out if they are attacked and has 10% or less of their hitpoints left. This is especially useful on a hardcore ironman. It can be obtained as a reward from The Lost Tribe quest.

How to get to Knights of Ardougne

There are Knights of Ardougne in East Ardougne, West Ardougne and Mourner tunnels. However, The best place to pickpocket them efficiently is at East Ardougne. Here are the fastest methods to get to here:

• Ardougne teleport: The tablet can be bought from Grand Exchange and the spell is available on the regular spellbook.
• Boat from Rimmington: Players can pay 30 coins to travel from Rimmington to Ardougne.

Strategy for Knights of Ardougne

• First off, Hop worlds until you find one where the Knight of Ardougne is stuck in the building northwest of the Ardougne marketplace, shown below. There are different methods to lure him into the building, but they can be dangerous, and it takes only a few minutes of world hopping to find one where the Knight already stuck in the building.

• Secondly, change the NPC attack option in your settings to "always right-clickâ€. This way, you can left-click to directly to pickpocket the Knight, allowing you to spam-click and get the most amount of XP.
• Wait for him to stand on any of the tiles shown if he is not already there, then move your camera so you always pickpocket the knight no matter the tile he is standing on as shown in the image.

Tips for Pickpocketing from the Knight of Ardougne

• Turn on mouse keys and set a key on your keyboard to left-click so you don't have to click your mouse while training, making it a lot easier.
• Do not stand on the east or west side of the Knight. Standing on either of those tiles will restrict the Knight's movement, causing him to despawn after a while
