The Restless Ghost is one of the first quests in OSRS. It involves the player helping the priest of Lumbridge.

The Restless Ghost quest has no skill, quest, or item requirements.
Walkthrough of Restless Ghost
- Talk to Father Aereck in the Lumbridge Church. Reply 3, 1.
- Talk to Father Urhney in the building southwest of Lumbridge Swamp. Reply 2, 1.
- Open the coffin in the Lumbridge Graveyard to spawn the ghost.
- Talk to the Ghost with the Ghostspeak amulet equipped. Reply 1.
- Enter the Wizard's Tower basement. The fastest way to get here is with the necklace of passage. Use it to teleport to the Wizard's tower, then go down the basement.
- Search the Altar for a Ghost's skull. A skeleton (level 13) will appear and attack you, but you don't have to kill it, so run away.
- Climb up the ladder to leave the basement.
- Return to the Ghost's coffin in Lumbridge graveyard and search it to complete the quest.
