Crafting blood runes is a popular method of training runecrafting due to its profitability, XP rates, and low effort or click intensity. It has more requirements than other runecrafting training methods, but it's worth it for most players.

Recommendations for Crafting Blood Runes at Zeah
Raiments of the Eye: Each piece of this outfit worn grants 10% more runes when runecrafting, with a 20% bonus for wearing the full set. This results in a total of 60% when the full outfit is worn. The pieces of the outfit can be purchased from the Guardian of the Rift reward shop for 1,350 abyssal pearls. To learn about this minigame, check our Guardian of the Rift guide.
Full graceful: This is the best alternative to the Raiment of the Eye outfit. It does not offer any additional reward, but it helps maintain and restore run energy, which is quite useful since a lot of running is required in this method.
Ring of endurance: if this ring has 500 charges or more, it will passively reduce the run energy drain rate by 15% without using any charges. This is useful for players who would be wearing the Raiments of Eye outfit.
The ring is a potential reward from the Grand Hallowed Coffin and requires 70 agility to equip.
Completion of Kourend and Kebos Diary:
Completing the medium and elite Kourend & Kebos gives the player a chance to mine an extra essence block, increasing their profits significantly
The medium Kourend & kebos diary grants players a 5% chance to mine an extra essence block, and the elite Kourend & Kebos grants them a 10% chance to mine an extra essence block.
Blood essence: When activated, it gives the player a 50% chance to craft an extra blood rune per dark essence fragment, pure essence, daeyalt essence, or guardian essence for no additional runecrafting XP. Each blood essence can craft an extra 1,000 blood runes before being destroyed. This is highly recommended as it improves the profit significantly. It is a possible drop from the Tombs of Amascut and a potential reward from opening an intricate pouch. Players can also just purchase it from the grand exchange.

Players will spend most of their time in the Dense essence mine when runecrafting blood runes at Zeah. There are two dense runestones in the mine, where players can mine dense essence blocks. The blood altar and dark altar are not far from here.

The Dark Altar is an artefact located west of the dense essence mine. It transforms dense essence blocks into dark essence blocks. Creating dark essence blocks reduces prayer points by 1 per block, and 2,5 Runecraft XP is awarded for each block. If you run out of prayer, you'd still be able to create dark essence blocks.

The Blood Altar is a runic altar located south of the Dark Altar, it is used to craft blood runes from dark essence fragments. Crafting blood runes at this altar provides the player with 23.8 runecraft XP per dark essence fragment they imbue. The path from the dark altar to the blood altar is shown below.

Here are the fastest ways to get to these locations

Don't forget to always use the shortcut if you have at least 73 agility. This saves so much time. The maximum number of blood runes that can be crafted in one trip is 212 or roughly 300 with an activated blood essence. This limit increases to 232 with the completion of elite Kourend and Kebos Diary.
Players can do an average of 7.5 trips to the Blood altar while wearing the full set Raiment of the Eye, and about 7 trips while wearing the full graceful outfit. The rate below assumes that you wear the full set Raiment of the Eye
From level 77 runecrafting, players will get 35,905 runecrafting XP per hour, around 4,410 mining XP, and 5,880 crafting XP.
These rates assume you are wearing the recommended items above. Note that the price will be slightly different when you do this method due to price fluctuations at the grand exchange.
At level 77 runecrafting and without using any of the recommendations below, you will get only 1,470 blood runes, worth 454,230 GP each hour.
If you have all recommendations, you will get a total of 3,234 blood runes, worth 999,306 GP each hour, for a total profit of 950,531 after the cost of actuated blood essence is deducted.
