OSRS Castle Wars Tickets Boosting Guide

OSRS Castle Wars Tickets Boosting Guide

Have you ever played Castle Wars and wasted time only to have your team lose, decreasing the number of tickets earned per hour? Luckily, we have a method using an alternative account that you can literally create if you don't already have one, as it has no requirements to access, and you can reach it using the minigames teleport, which is completely free. If you don’t want to bother, you can also purchase our OSRS Castle Wars ticket service, and we will do all the work for you.

Main & Alt Account

To begin, we will need 2 accounts: the account where you want to get the most tickets per hour possible, and the alt account, which can be a newly created level 3 account. Currently, there are no requirements to enter Castle Wars.

Another good news is that many people think you need a Membership account, but the truth is, you don't. There are plenty of free-to-play worlds where you can play Castle Wars; you just have to look for them. Simply create an account and go to Castle Wars. Everything is free-to-play, so luckily for many, you won't need to spend money on a Membership Bond.

AFK or Splash

To splash successfully, your splashing account needs to wear armor that reduces your magic attack bonus to -64 or below. However, as many know, Castle Wars doesn't allow you to use a helm or cape, so we'll need some additional magic attack nerfs. This step is also optional, as you can choose not to splash and simply remain AFK once you secure the point for your winning team (more on that later).

Busy or Free World

Once inside, you'll have to wait for the 2-minute countdown. If the countdown is longer, it means someone is already in the game, so you'll have to hop to different worlds until you find an open one.

Once we have both accounts ready in Castle Wars, we need to make sure no one else is in the minigame, or we'll crash both their game and ours later on. When it says "Waiting players to join the other team," it means there's an empty world, and we can bring our other account in.

Portal Teams

We enter a different team portal on each account; if one account enters Zamorak, make sure the other account enters Saradomin or the middle portal, and the minigame will automatically assign them equally to different teams.

Inside Castle Wars Minigame

  • We'll go up the stairs on both accounts because if we stay in the lobby, we'll be kicked from the minigame, but if we go up, we can AFK for more than 25 minutes, and a Castle Wars match only lasts 20 minutes, which means we can AFK the entire round. We just need to score one point on the account we want to win, and that's it; we can enjoy the maximum possible reward per round in Castle Wars (3 wins & 1 loss).
  • We'll focus on account number 1 (the winning one). If we don't go up the stairs, we'll be eliminated from the minigame after 2 minutes. Once we go up, we'll have to go back down another set of stairs that will take us outside the castle.

  • After going down, we'll have to go back down to floor 1 to finally unlock the last door, so we can finally head to our opponent's castle.

  • We unlock the outer door and head to our opponent's castle. At this point, we can use the number 2 bead since we will need it outside their castle as well.

  • When we reach our opponent's castle, going up is the same as how we just went down in our castle; there's not much to it. Once on the top floor, we'll find our opponent's flag, which we'll take and carry out of the castle.

  • Once outside with both accounts, we will proceed to follow account 1 with account 2 so that we can both reach the winning team's castle together.

  • We go up to the top floor with both accounts, and once we have 1 point earned on the team we want, we can proceed to go AFK with the Runelite logout timer plugin set to 25 minutes to wait for the game to end, and that's it.

No XP Waste

If you want to be productive and not waste EXP, you can splash on the other account, only needing the gear on one account. But you can also have both accounts ready if you want them to splash between them, and that way,y both accounts will be getting magic EXP while you gather Castle Wars tickets.

This method can also be done without armor; splashing is simply optional and for players who don't want to waste XP while they are AFK for the 20 minutes of the game.

Rewards/Tickets Per Hour

Here is how the Castle Wars Rewards break down:

  • The Winner gets 3 tickets.
  • The Loser gets 1 ticket.
  • Tickets Per Hour: A standard game lasts 20 minutes, plus lobby wait time. By winning every game, you will earn approximately 9 tickets per hour.

Multi-Logging Efficiency: This method can be used with as many accounts as the minigame allows simultaneously, so the "bug" can be exploited to obtain 3 tickets on any account added to the winning team. Similarly, loser accounts will receive 1 ticket each.

Ultimately, Castle Wars tickets can be used to purchase the best body and head slot armor in Pure's account, and there's also a huge variety of unique armor and weapons that I'm sure will look great on your OSRS character!

Conclusion

This guide was written to maximize the number of Castle Wars tickets you collect per hour. While you can always go to the official Castle Wars world and play, that's essentially a matter of chance, which wastes time and is never as accurate as this method, guaranteeing you win every round. If your goal isn't so much to enjoy the classic minigame but rather to obtain the most tickets per hour, this method is the most efficient for you and your account.
