OSRS Free Mountain Dwarf Quest Guide: Obtain Rock cake

To save the dwarf, you'll need a special dwarven rock cake--only his father, found in the tunnel beneath White Wolf Mountain, knows how to make it.

• Bucket of milk: can be bought from the Culinaromancer's chest.
• Pot of flour: can be bought from the Culinaromancer's chest.
• Egg: can be bought from the Culinaromancer's chest.
• Bowl of water: A bowl and sink can be found in the kitchen of Lumbridge Castle.
• 4 Asgarnian ales: Can be bought during the quest at the Rising Sun Inn in Falador

Walkthrough of Freeing the Mountain Dwarf

• Inspect the dwarf in the Lumbridge castle dining room.

• Talk to Kaylee in the pub in Falador. Use the falador teleport to get here quicker. Reply 2, 2.

• Buy four Asgarnian ale from Kaylee for 3GP each if you don't already have them and use your coins on them to make 4 Asgoldian ale.
• Enter the tunnel under White Wolf Mountain, northwest of Falador.

• Keep giving the dwarf drinks until he is drunk. Talk to him four times to give him the 4 Asgoldian ale.

• Talk to Rohak more until he puts the Dwarven rock cake on the table.

• Pick up the Dwarven rock cake. If you have ice gloves, wear them to pick it up. Otherwise, wear other gloves or telegrab it. If it despawns you'll need to bring Rohak more ingredients.
• If you did not pick up the rock cake with ice gloves, you have to kill an Icefield to cool the rock cake. They can be found on the Ice Mountain, east of the tunnel.

• Use the dwavern rock cake on the dwarf in the Dinning room of Lumbridge Castle to complete the quest.
