Items needed: Bread, an orange, a knife, a dye (not red, yellow, orange, or pink), spice, fishing bait, a bucket of water, and charcoal

Recommended: Falador teleport

  • Teleport to Falador—or run there—then head north and go down the ladder marked by the quest icon below and you will find Mudknuckles, the Goblin cook.

Goblin village

  • Talk to him and select dialogue options 2, 1 and he will tell you he needs you to get charcoal to finish a cooking recipe.

Goblin Cook

  • Talk to him again and pick 1 to give him the charcoal. A cutscene will play where he adds it to the cauldron and it explodes—but don’t worry, you both make it out fine.
  • Chat with the Goblin Cook again, select 3, and he’ll tell you what he needs to make the dish. Here’s how to get each ingredient:
  • Once you have everything, talk to the Goblin Cook again, pick 3, and you’ll get the Slop of Compromise.
  • Teleport back to Lumbridge using your home teleport or a Lumbridge teleport. Enter the large door to the dining room and use the Slop of Compromise on Wartface or Bentnoze in the Lumbridge Castle Dining Room to finish the quest.
