Sheep Shearer is another classic early-game OSRS quest. It’s simple, requires no combat, and takes only a few minutes to complete. Your job is to help Fred the Farmer by collecting wool from his sheep and turning it into balls of wool.
This quest is perfect for brand-new players and ironman because it gives early Crafting XP and teaches you how to use the spinning wheel.
General Questing Tips
Time to complete:
ironman must make these themselves. Normal accounts can simply buy them from the Grand Exchange.
If you’re on a normal account, just buy 20 balls of wool from the Grand Exchange.

If you are using ironman or want to obtain the items yourself, follow the full walkthrough below.
Go to Fred the Farmer, you can find his location on the map below. He is located north of Lumbridge. Talk to him and select 1, then 1 to accept the quest. He will hand you a pair of shears.

Use the stile east of Fred’s house to climb into the sheep field. Avoid the ram — clicking it will make your character attack it instead of shearing.
Click different sheep in the pen to shear them. If a sheep isn’t ready, just move to the next one.
After a few minutes, you should have 20 pieces of wool in your inventory.
Go back to Lumbridge Castle.

Go back to Fred the Farmer and hand him all 20 balls of wool.
